Eddie Deen Shares Chili Recipe on Fox 4
Eddie Deen’s Chili
4lbs. ground brisket
1/2 c. cups onion flakes
Brown the meat with the onions then add the following:
3c. 2 oz. tomato sauce
3c. 2 oz. water
Low heat for about an hour then add the following:
5 TB chili powder
1 TB ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash oregano
2.4 oz. (about 5 TB) Masa mixed thinly with water (be sure there are no lumps). The Masa disperses the grease and tightens up the chili. Let sit for 15 minutes after adding masa.
Eddie Deen’s Best of 2011
We offer such a wide selection of tasty entrees that choosing only a few of our favorites foods from 2011 was a tough task, though we tried…

We are in favor of most things wrapped in bacon. Add cream cheese and a jalapeno and our Fire Roasted Chilies will please most anyone.

Our creamy homemade Tomato Soup Shooters topped with a triangle of grilled cheese turns this simple comfort food classic into an easy to handle gourmet sensation.
Good Things Come in Small Packages
Heavy Hors d’oeuvres are hot on the menu these days.
Most people think of Hors d‘oeuvres as light passed finger foods served before dinner or during cocktail hour. Why not expand that perfect social scene by adding an array of Hors d’oeuvres to serve as your meal?
We suggest mixing it up a little by adding a station, or two; and maybe a specialty food bar, or buffet. Your guests will appreciate watching our experienced caterers cooking Spicy Quesadillas or our popular Cheeseburger Sliders right before their eyes. Also, our Martini Mashed Potato or Avocado bars are an elegant way to encourage your guest to have fun with their food while serving themselves. Meatlovers? Don’t forget the Carving Station!
The Gift of Eddie Deen’s BBQ Sauce
For people who like to grill, indoors or out, Eddie Deen’s BBQ sauce is a must have condiment. We brush this tangy sauce on everything from chicken (try blending a little honey for a sweeter flavor), hamburgers to slow smoked brisket and tender ribs. Yummy. Of course, you can contact us to purchase a bottle. We even create specialized labels as an additional option. It does make the perfect gift. Ready for pick up or shipping, by the bottle, or case.
Happy Holidays from EDC!
A few years ago a large Hurricane by the name of Katrina hit Louisiana and left thousands of people stranded without homes, food, water, and some of them… even their families. The nation was shocked and many made donations to help aid those in need.
Catering for over 30 years, Eddie knew how he could help. Eddie along with his crew hopped in their big catering trailers and traveled to New Orleans with his nationally recognized Texas BBQ, enough to feed thousands. Those who hadn’t eaten in days savored homemade potato salad and juicy, tender brisket smothered in Eddie Deen’s Signature BBQ Sauce. While in New Orleans, Eddie made it his mission to get to know those he had fed on a more personal level.
Ray was completely consumed in his meal until a man sat down and introduced himself as Eddie Deen, the man behind the Texas BBQ. They talked for a while about his past and his future.
With Ray’s kind and gentle spirit shining, Eddie knew exactly what Ray was meant to do. Having catering for the jolliest man of all… Eddie gave Santa Clause a call. Down came Blitzen to pick Ray up and bring him to his new home.
At the North Pole, Ray made many little friends, learned how to make various popular toys, and how to bake the best sugar cookies. One day Santa came to him and said, ” You have such great holiday cheer, I would love for you to spread it for all to hear.” As he said those words he sprinkled Ray with a little sparkly magic dust and turned him into an Elf – Ray Ray the Elf! Ray Ray found himself in Dallas, Texas, a place renowned for BBQ and western gear.
Immediately recognizing Eddie Deen’ s Ranch; Ray Ray knew he had to go thank Eddie, the man who gave him the opportunity to become who he is today – a cheer-spreading, fun-loving Elf. Ray Ray now shares his holiday spirit and witty jokes with all who enter Eddie Deen’s Ranch. While he is here in Dallas, be sure to stop by Eddie Deen’s Ranch and visit Ray Ray for a chuckle or two!
